The HPE 1820-24G-PoE switch J9983-61001 model supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, which allows network devices to be powered over the same Ethernet cable as the data connection. This eliminates the need for separate power supplies and makes it easier to deploy network devices in areas where power outlets are not readily available.<\/p>\n
The switch provides up to 185W of PoE power, which is enough to power a variety of network devices, such as wireless access points, IP phones, and security cameras.
