Cisco introduces the Cisco Catalyst 6500 SSL and CSM modules bundle. The SSL service module and the content switching module (CSM), when integrated with any Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch, enables secure, fault-tolerant, networked application transactions while maximizing performance and resource utility. The solution provides industry-leading performance and feature integration. The SSL module supports up to 3000 connections per second and 300-Mbps throughput per module, and the CSM supports up to 165, 000 connections per second and 1 million concurrent connections per module.
