The 10-GBps ESP (ESP10) supports up to 10 gigabits per second of bandwidth and can be deployed in customer networks that require 1 + 1 redundancy when paired with the Cisco ASR 1006 Router chassis. Based on the innovative Cisco QuantumFlow Processor (QFP) for next-generation forwarding and queuing in silicon, the ESP10 delivers multi-gigabit Cisco IOS Firewall capability in a router without the need for service blades.
